About This Spot

Stepping into Sun Sun Chinese Take-Out is like entering a quietly familiar corner of Coral Springs—unassuming, warmly welcoming, and humbly steady in its rhythms. It’s the kind of place where the pace is deliberately unhurried, and the atmosphere feels like an extension of the neighborhood itself: practical, friendly, and just a touch nostalgic. While modest in size, the space carries the comforting aroma of a kitchen devoted to familiar flavors, a scent that instantly invites you to slow down and savor something made with care.

There’s a gentle hum of activity here, punctuated by the occasional friendly exchange behind the counter. Despite limited seating, the vibe is relaxed, approachable—it’s clear this is a spot where many people stop in regularly, whether to grab a quick meal or enjoy an informal ritual of shared take-out dinners at home.

The menu unfolds like a quiet celebration of Chinese-American classics, brought to life with thoughtful touches—a fragrant handful of oranges cooked into the sauce of the orange chicken, for instance, or the satisfying balance of crispy and tender in the sweet and sour chicken, all showing a genuine respect for the craft of takeout fare. Dishes arrive promptly, often with a quality and freshness that stand out among similar neighborhood options, making it a reliable choice when craving those familiar tastes that feel like a small comfort.

What lingers strongest is the sense of a place woven deeply into the local fabric, where the people serving you know their food’s role not just as a meal but as a moment—brief, meaningful, and wrapped in the steady kindness of a neighborhood kitchen that’s been part of the community for decades.

As soon as I arrived, I was greeted within 5 minutes after ringing a bell on the counter. My order consisted of shrimp and broccoli with a side of white steam rice. Not only was my order ready in less than 10 minutes but it also tasted great and much better quality than other take out places nearby.

food is good, but sometimes a little greasy. Sweet and Sour Chicken is probably the best in the area. The chicken is freshly fried and tender. A bit pricey for a take-out restaurant. Menu is circa Covid with pen changes in pricing.

They have great food and they are super nice. I can’t believe I actually got roast pork ends here in South Florida been a long time since I’ve had that one of my favorites in New York. Been here 30 Plus years first time I tried their takeout and the food is delicious. I recommend to anyone looking for a good Chinese food to take out

Football Sunday led to finally trying the Chinese restaurant. Despite the warm interior and small space with limited seating, the friendly greeting and the delicious aroma were welcoming. The initial order of a small house special fried rice and an egg roll exceeded expectations, especially the flavorful rice. While the undercooked peas and carrots were a minor detractor, the overall experience was excellent, guaranteeing a quick return.

I’ve been a few times and each time has been great. The lady that works there is very nice . I got the orange chicken this time and they serve it with actual bits of oranges cooked into the sauce. Very nice touch that I’ve never tasted before

We were in south Florida for a week and we literally had their hunan beef every single day! Prices are pretty reasonable, the lady at the front is very attentive and nice. We wish we have this quality of Chinese food around home.
